WHat are your thoughts on this animal?

The guys comes to came over 20 pounds heavier of muscle.
He's listed as 6'3" 230 pounds.

Why did bring this up?

Well.... Wasn't this guy a speed demon?

Do you think the weight would slow him down?

Not so sure about that. I would think that a move like this would raise enough eyebrows to warrant investigation.

They would be all over him, and I'm sure he's aware that, if PEDs played a role, he would get caught.

I doubt/ hope not he didnt take PED's.

That is baseballs biggest problem , the cheaters caused doubt for everyone.

I don't know about that because he is 20. And many 20 year old kids haven't developed their brains completely or if they have they just don't use them.

Well, he's only 20. So it's really only natural that he starts to fill out muscle wise as he hits his early 20's (btw, I'm 20 and actually am starting to see quicker results in weight lifting than I did as a teenager. Strange, but makes sense)

The guy works hard and is a big sponsor for a protein supplement company.

But, yes, this is very scary as a Mets fan lol.

Also, about his speed, I don't see him dropping too much off. His speed is based on his hustle and technique, not because he was skinny. I mean, jeez, have you watched this guy run out a groundout?! It's scary how much he hustles.

This guy is a phenomenon. He has guys advising everything he does now. And he's mormon. Guy won't even drink, what makes you think he will do drugs?

hopefully it will have the same effect adding muscle had on Hanley Ramirez.

Relax it was an off the wall comment not a know fact. Just that some 20 year old kids don't always think too clearly was the jist of the comment.

To be honest, I'm insanely jealous that we don't have a guy like that.

HE belongs on our team.

Well, remember when Wright gained all that muscle? So we did have a guy like that at one point.

Not quite.

I suspect Harper will put up some mind boggling numbers this year.

Wouldn't be surprised if he has a 40hr / 120 rbi / 40SB season.

He is now a full time LF so he can be a little bigger. Probably will drop some weight throughout the season.
