Would they trade one of these guys if the Stanton package is to rich for the Mets. Could it be a reason they Marlins would part with Stanton?

I actually wanted Marisnick in the Dickey trade before he was traded to the Marlins. Just for Stanton, I don't see the Mets parting with Wheeler, Harvey, or D'Arnaud. If the Marlins included a top OF prospect with Stanton, that might change.

Can't we just steal Stanton? I don't mean a lopsided trade. I'm talking about getting a few of our big guys, kirk, Duda, Harvey maybe call up Cliff Floyd for a favor. And ride down to Miami, hogtie Stanton toss him in the back of a stolen , black tinted pinto. Bring him across state lines and Keep him in citifield outfield. Tell the Floridians if they want him back come to Queens, New York and come get em.

But there are only 30 mlb teams. Shouldn't every team on average have 3 of the top 100 OF prospects?

They have 3 outfielders, who are top 100 prospects regardless of position.
