losing players like Reyes,Beltran,Krod,and Dickey can't be easy to deal with on the field

so you have to tip your hat to Terry for making the best of a depleted roster and runnin' them out there every day

You are right, TC deserves a lot more credit then he is getting, and it will be unfortunate if he is done after this season with nothing but 3 losing seasons to show for his efforts.

Yep, he's done a great job with the outfield and our leadoff hitter and bullpen... oh wait...

you know it's an ironic situation,with the deals Sandy has made with Beltran,Krod,and now Dickey he's been praised for either getting top notch prospects back or getting out from underneath a horrible contract,and he does deserve credit for that

but at the same time Collins doesn't get the immediate gratification of these deals and as a matter of fact gets more in the way of an immediate step backwards as far as the ML team is concerned

so when he's got Kirk in center and Baxter in right and the team struggles Terry will be criticized for the team not winning and having to call upon Frankie to close

Collins is taking the hammer blows while the team restores its minor league system and he's done it so far with class and as a good soldier. He hasn't gone to the media with any discontent about his contract situation or how his team is slowly being stripped of its talent

i hope he gets to stick around long enough at least to see a rotation of Harvey,Wheeler,Niese,and Syndegaard before he's let go
