I doubt that's going to happen. They may save some money if he gets suspended but they will wind up paying most if not all of his remaining salary. Besides there is no way A-Rod retires either. Unless the Yanks put a clasue in A-Rods contract that the contract can be voided for extensive steriod use they have to pay his full salary. He's not going to retire.
