Bourne's defense and ability to play everyday would be critical for this team. We need a leadoff hitter to make this team go. If the Mets can just find another closer (Valverde, Wilson?) and a right handed hitter that can hit 20-25 HRs and knock in 85-90 runs to protect the lefties, we would be able to compete for the 2nd wild card spot.
