The pen as it stands right now
1.F.Francisco
2.B.Parnell
3.J.Edgin
4.J.Familia
5.R.Carson
6.J.Hefner
7.E.Ramirez

except for Francisco, that is a young pen with some really outstanding arms.TONS of potential in Parnell, Edgin, Familia, Ramirez, but all are high risk... and no veteran presence.

Need that one Vet. maybe Feliciano will bring that. He should be fully recovered.

Our bullpen is much better from last year and is better than people think. If we get a veteran bullpen arm I think we can surprise people with our bullpen.

Pedro Feliciano and Aaron Laffey could also be part of the BP, a lot of LH depth at least.

totally agree. feliciano might help. and it gets better down the road with montero, tapia, fulmer tho some of them might be starters/trade bait. syndergard is probably a starter, but potential bp arm too.

"How about Byrdak?"

Will not be ready to start the season but can help in the 2nd half.

Don't forget Mejia. He'll be in the mix, too.

Actually, I'd say this is the first year Parnell actually had a solid season. Even if he isn't a closer, he established himself as an effective set-up man.
