Gnats clear ahead but the Mets, Phils and Braves all very close and we lost a number of guys to the DL, We lost Dickey but get a full season of Harvey, Get Gee back and Santana had a better ERA after 16 games then Dickey did hopefully antother year removed will help his stay strong all season.

Runs created???? I guess you can take any stats and make them look any way you want...

Dude do you really not know what runs created means? It is not my stat, Guessing you dont know very much about baseball so here is a little info for you, When you hit a HR (call it a solo shot)you score a run and get an RBI but you did not create 2 runs so HRS are subtracted to get a true idea of what said position created.

PS Runs created is generally accepted, There is also RC27.

There are a couple ways to look at RC, some also factor in any part of a run they created such as hits and sacs but I dont have the time to do the math on that.

Runs created is a real stat. Look it up.

Variations: There are other run estimators that do a better job then Runs Created, yet one of the main advantage of Runs Created is that it’s extremely easy to calculate. Other run estimators include: Batting Runs, Base Runs, Extrapolated Runs, Estimated Runs Produced, Equivalent Runs.

This is a lot of "ifs." Probably too many. Also, don't be surprised if Harvey takes some lumps early on as hitters adjust to him. Hopefully, he'll readjust (I expect he will), but it may be a rocky road in his first full year in the majors.

And replaced them with....??? So, now we have holes instead of trash. Bullpen is still a big problem. Familia, Edgin and Carson all have potential, but really have to show me more before I'm convinced.

Hard to see the Mets coming in anything other than 4th again in the NL East. But, time will tell. That's why they play the games.

How would that be affected in a stadium like Yankee stadium or CBP, where many runs are created by HR?

The best team in baseball from 2007-2011. 81 wins last year with Halladay, Utley, & Howard out most of the year. Five better-than-average pickups during the offseason. I'll ask again---are you still in your teens?

Perspective: The Phillies win 81 games in 2012 = A disgrace for that team.

Mets win 81 games = A ticker-tape parade down Broadway.

PS - TheMets are still 40,000 lite-years behind the Phillies-----until proven otherwise.
