I'd have to say Duda...which is pretty sad when you think about the fact that he is like the worst defensive OF in the game.

Have to agree with Murph ... someone in the Mets distant future ... but if I'm forced, I'll go with Baxter, simply because he has more heart than the others. He's a 4th OFer maybe, but so are they right now, no matter if they are 1, 2, 3 for us.

he probably wont bc his contact ability is lacking but his plus defense as a cf & power gives him the best shot

I like Den Dekker too, but he's not on the ML team yet. If and when he gets there, my opinion may change. Have to see what he does. But, he has to be an improvement of some sort I would hope/pray/think, It is a disgusting situation right now. There's still a little bit of time to do something about it, but I have very little faith in Sandy or the W boys.

I would say Den Dekker. Duda is already 27 yrs old.

Does it really matter? The ceiling for our guys is 4th OF'er, which one has the best chance to be a decent 4th OF'er doesn't really matter to me.

Den Dekker is 25, Duda is 26. I would vote Duda. If we are projecting, 30 homers with a .280/.370/.870 stat line is possible. Noone else is close to that. Not saying it happens but ceiling is higher. As far as the argument that he is a miserable outfielder, with that stat line, he is worth alot as a 1st basemen/dh in an AL bandbox.

Actually, Duda is a week short of 27. They are 18 months apart.
