Not Martinez, Falicano.

Lets see what he has left.

"What they did to him"

You mean help him build enough of a track record/resume to score a $12 million dollar contract as a lefty specialist?

Agree completely, especially getting rid of Warthen. If I were Sandy (which obviously I'm not), I would be bending over backwards to try and get Leo Mazzone in or someome with that type of resume as a pitching coach. Whatever the love affair with Warthen, its a mystery to me.

Don't you think if Feliciano felt as we did, he would not have re signed with the Mets?

I remember the Harvey fiasco too. First thought in my mind was....... WHYYYYYY? the H*ell are you even thinking about messing with him. He comes into the league, pitches a lights out game and you want to change it. He has to go, which I know is not going to happen soon..... if we are lucky, after this year maybe.

There are plenty of pitching coaches out there, looking for work or whatever. Some better than others. Most if not all, better than Danny Boy. Some give him credit for the starting rotation prospering. If thats the case, he gets the blame for the bull pen failing. He allegedly helped Pelfry... into Tommy John surgery maybe. Try anything a 100 times and the law of averages will give you an atta boy at least once.

Pitched in 72 games one year I believe. I think there was a time he was used in 6 or 7 games straight (give or take). They wore his arm out. But, overall I think he was an effective relief guy until then.
