I like a GM with a sense of humor. To me it's a job requirement for the GM.
And the fans.
Lighten up a little.
"After the last 7 years I'm no longer in a joking mood, sorry."
If someone can't maintain a sense of humor over a spectator sport, frankly (and I'm trying not to be judgemental), that person might want to ask himself/herself what they're getting out of being a fan.
"There's always going to be an excuse isn't there?"
Excuses are irrelevant. Caring is irrelevant since we have absolutely no control over what they do.
Only reality is relevant, and we'll know by OD what the roster reality is likely to be for 2013.
"He's compiled MLB worst bullpen and OF in consecutive seasons. "
Which of the guys in the pen last year, and the OF, were Sandy's?
And did you expect him to build an all-star pen and a solid OF given he's been here a little over 2 years, had to cut payroll as his FIRST and ONLY consideration, and he works for the Wilpons who everyone (except you?) consider to be as inept as they come?
