Antcumia, a lot of people care about total strangers. For example, how can anybody not care about the people of Newtown even if they've never met anybody from there?
How about when thousands of donations pour in to victims of Hurricanes Katrina or Sandy, the tsunami in Japan, etc. This is clearly caring for strangers.
Also, the posts started yesterday by people saying RIP Earl Weaver and Stan Musial were most likely strangers to the Hall of Famers, but it certainly was a kind gesture on their part.
I don't think there's anything wrong with wishing good things for the happy newly-engaged couple as I did when I started this post.
