You are talking about last years bull pen being the worst. You don't think that it improved just by cutting a few of the worst performers from last year?

Edgin Carson Familia Mejia E Ramirez all guys who were not on the opening day roster last year will be fighting for spots, and everyone being one year older is a good thing since they are all 25 or younger.

Familia, Carson, Edgin, Ramirez, Mejia were not up for most of the season only late. Those young players plus Parnell and Frankie are better than having Acosta, Ramirez and Rauch on the team. And bull pens are almost always a revolving door and there may still be more additions before and during ST.

They can't both be cheap at the same time.

2012 bullpen was supposed to be better then 2011's awful bullpen. 2012's was worse. i hope 2013's is better.

Familia walked 6.6/9 in the majors and 4.8/9 in AAA. We're counting on him to pitch out of the pen?
