I truly feel as though 2014 will be the first year we return to seriously compete for the postseason. For the following reasons:
1. Regardless of player movement the top of our rotation will include neise, wheeler, and harvey.
2. Wright, Davis, and D'Arnaud in their prime.
3. Perhaps the biggest reason: We will finally be able to add free agents. Sandy has said he will add this year, I expect 2 position players and 1 starter. I am not talking pujols type acquisitions, I am talking about players like: Pence (14 mill-who i personally want most) Granderson/Ellsbury (Would be a dream) and/or others who are legit mlb outfielders: Corey hart, chris young, Kubel, Morse, prado, cruz. And pitchers like: Haren, Garza, Hudson, Jimenez, Lester, Nolasco, Volquez.
Projected Lineup (Clearly not exact over a year prior but insert any of names above:

- Do not hate, its clearly not an exact science sitting here in january 2013. All the above are free agents but who knows who will sign an extension. Analyze the line of thinking moreso than the exact names. your thoughts?
