But D'arnaud injury last year was the best thing that ever happened to us.had he not gotten hurt,he wouldve been in the majors,im not sure when,but he wouldve been there.probably showed alot at the mlb level and them noway toronto wouldve gave him up for dickey.

the fact that noone was really sure what he could do at this level,imho,made it easier for them to include him.

It's interesting when things work out that way. Same with the other guy, Wuilmer Becerra. He took a pitch to the face which caused him to miss a lot of time, whereas if he stayed in he may not have been moved either.

It's also interesting how if the Marlins don't have a complete collapse, they don't have a fire sale to the Blue Jays, which means the Jays wouldn't have had a need for Dickey at all. So we can thank the Marlins having a terrible season and a terrible owner as well.
