different play styles. bad comparison.

Torres built on above average speed and fielding.

Cowgill is said to have plus plus bat speed, which should equate to power with better pitch selection.

They COULD be the same player in the sense that ownership attempts to pass a 4th OF as a starting CF...like they did with Torres. Cowgill is a decent pickup but he better not be the starting CF. Would you use a Ford Ranger pickup to haul an oversized load? Or would you use a truck that is actually capable of hauling such a load? Cespedes was the guy last year...and we got Torres. Don't know who the guy is this year but we got Cowgill and won't be surprised to see him starting OD.
