Doesn't specify via FA or trade. Hasn't been linked to us before.

Hmm....wonder who it is.

Swisher would be a good guess since I haven't heard his name connected with us before.

But I'm not fond of him. He's a total product of Yankee Stadium's miniscule dimensions.

Hoping against hope its Justin Upton. Say Niese and Flores, perhaps?

I also saw somewhere a couple of days ago that Coco Crisp via trade is another possiblity.

Trading Neise makes no sense. You don't get rid of the top 2/5 of your rotation and expect to compete. I'm sure Alderson isn't saying to himself " Let's see how I can make this team lose 121 games this year. While he does want to build for the future, he still has an obligation for this season.

To the owners. NOT the fans. Or the franchise.
If Sandy assesses our chances of competing in the very near future as slim, then you can trade him. For the betterment of the franchise and its future.

Wait..what? I don't want Swisher, but he's been a better hitter AWAY from Yankee stadium

Delmon would fit nicely in our lefty lineup...

Really. I would have never guessed...

Still, dont like him. He's already 32-33 looking for 4 years.

Delmon's only had 1 good year in his entire career. The only reason he has any notoriety is because he's absolutely murdered the Yankees and has been great in the playoffs.

That may be true. But he's right-handed and if he's cheap...

Well the cheap part will definitely appeal to them, you have a point there.

if it is swisher I am going to flip a sh*t...I can't enjoy one day of being a Mets fan knowing Sandy made a great trade with Dickey.

They better not sign that clown. He was a product of two hitters parks for the most part of his career. He is 32 and will probably require a multi year deal He is a terrible OF, he strikes out a ton. Yes he walks but IDGAF

Swisher is a clown that is not the type of player I want on this team. I trust Sandy wont make a stupid move and sign this bum
