if he's a type A FA and only the top 10 picks are protected do we lose our high first rounder if we sign him?

We would lose it but Braves wouldn't get it, new CBA Braves get a comp pick and everyone shifts up a spot.

then i'd have to pass on Bourn both from a monetary standpoint and losing a #11 pick overall
