These are not elite numbers. Sure he's clutch, but he's not elite. Come to think of it, I don't know if clutch is the right term. Lucky is more like it. Tyree's catch was pure luck. The botched punt return against the 49ers last year was pure luck. Welker missing every catch in the 4th quarter...luck.

Exactly. The problem is that some of these rabid Giants fans talk about Eli as if he puts up amazing numbers every season. He doesn't. He has just been clutch a few times in the playoffs and won some big games with a little bit of luck.
