One of the classiest, most amiable guys to ever wear a Mets uniform. I hope this trade pays off for us, but I wish him well and a long healthy career ahead.

We could still get him back if we find ourselves in the same position the Blue Jays are in now. The extension is only for two years, that gives us three to hopefully improve to that point. Supposedly, the rebuild's only going to take two (and that's if the Wilpons actually stay out of Alderson's business and make an honest effort to improve the team), and if Dickey's still a good pitcher by then.....who knows....i could see him coming back to finish up a winning team.

I hope RA wins a world series for Toronto. (Not against the Mets, of course. I doubt I'll have to worry about that this year, though.)
