Either sign Pelf, or call off the trade.

Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't they just sign him? Is there any other FA's besides Pelfrey that are decent?

Chris Young. 2nd yr removed from surgery. Should be even better than last yr. And he was pretty OK last yr.

He got a 1 year deal. That would have been ideal, but it seems like if we weren't interested him we're probably rolling with our own homegrown players.

I guess we can always replace Dickey with Jeremy Hefner. He seemed like a nice kid.

1 year 2.5M is a steal. That does set the Market for what Pelfrey will get though.

LOL, yes, without Lannan or our good friend Pelfrey, I don't know if I want to go on - let's call the whole thing off!

Yea, Baker is gone too - 1 year, $5.5 million with the Cubs.

Why Pelfrey? Why not Chris Young? He was pretty good last yr & 2013 will be 2nd yr removed from surgery. And now he'll get more run support (theoretically).

>> Why not Chris Young? <<

Because our coaches are stubborn.

Instead of using him to his strengths they leave him in just long enough to fail.

The effing bar is never high enough.
