The only thing that is for sure is that Dickey is in the deal. EVERYTHING else is speculation.

By all accounts, that seems to be the main point. I will say this..with no actual proof to back it up ...but there is no deal if D'Arnaud isn't in the trade. They could be working on extra pieces and contract extension for Dickey most likely.

It was reported that the Jay's are the front runners, so maybe that means D'Arnaoud has finally been thrown into the offer.

Not much. We know that the smoke coming from Toronto hasn't gone away in 8 hours so there is likely fire there. Everything else is anybody's guess

Well, I think thats a safe assumption. I think part of what we know is that Sandy's "difference maker" prerequisite when talking about the Blue Jays is D'Arnaud.

A team can be given permission to talk to a prospective player in order to see if he is willing to sign an extension. All this before the trade can be official.

Very true. You have to remember no one views JPA as a difference maker just as a plug at C until the Mets can figure out something better. He's a 1-2 WAR guy, if he breaks out with the bat 3 WAR max.

If the Jays are making a deal Anthopoulos has a prerequisite nothing is leaked. He doesn't make deals in the media and he has scrapped deals because they were leaked. Also one of the reasons I don't buy any of this speculation. Silence is a good sign here.
