According to Morosi, he says the deal is R.A. Dickey to Toronto for Gose AND Arencibia OR D'Arnaud. Let's hope it's D'Arnaud

I know right lol. It's either a fantastic trade or a regrettable one. Such a huge swing. We just have to have faith that Sandy will not accept a guy with a sub .300 OBP.

thats a huge OR which really questions how close the deal is

JPA is a decent player with decent power put he is what he is "decent"

Gose is a good young piece but in a deal for RA is what I would call the secondary piece.

So that leaves travis d'arnaud he is the trade breaker

so its not like 2 players with equal value there is a huge gap of talent between the 2 catchers/

I would say it has to be the second, since the first has been rumored since the meetings and the Mets turned it down.
Why would they accept it today unless something changed?
I am hoping the thing that changed was better player added, not that the Wilpons want Dickey gone because of the Xmas party.

I went into this with confidence that Sandy would understand the magnitude of trading Dickey and get an appropriate return. The constant mentions of Arencibia, though, do concern me.
