Probably just speculation. Unless he is a throw in to the deal and not a centerpiece I say no way

dickey isn't turning down 20 million guarunteed at 38 years old.

he has had a small window of success and wont risk a mediocre season or injury that causes him to miss out on 20 million $

if reports are true about a trade with the blue jays happening then we will probably get darnaud +...

like what do the blue jays think they can get 4 all star caliber players and not give up more than 1 of their top 5 prospects (not even their best one). laughable.

would suspect rangers or another mystery team to step up and give us what we demand.

You have to remember they have higher tax rates in Canada so no one, especially a guy that will be a free agent after next season, would sign there before they know they like it or not.

If it is the Jays with the acceptable offer I would think it is a top heavy D'Arnaud deal, and the Mets are shopping around to see if the can get a better multi- prospect deal. But who knows we will see

He shouldn't sign anywhere if he's traded. He knew he liked it in New York, he doesn't know if he will like it anywhere else. He can get more money as a free agent then if he signs now. He will end up with more money just for signing in the US then in Canada.

Would be nice if Dickey is traded, doesn't sign an extension, then resigns with us next off-season.

It's fun in the winter, but man, many of the general people there are pure fuksticks.

Lansing's pretty cool though.
