If the mets can get a guy like Trumbo for Dickey you have to jump on that quick and be done with the Dickey drama. He instantly would add the out field right handed power to the mets lineup which is what they desperately need. Does this make too much sense for the mets to actually get it done :)

Why not? They benched Bourjos for Trout and now Hamilton will be taking over for Trumbo.

For what its worth, the Angels are already saying Trumbo not available acording to reports, Kendry Morlas may be though..

That was like when people on here thought he got Wheeler AND Brown for Beltran...I'm sure Sandy will ASK for both, but the Angels can trade one elsewhere for a good arm...no reason to lose two talented guys under team control for a 38-year old pitcher.

It would be nice, but I just don't see it. I certainly wouldn't do it if I was the Angels.

I saw the Buster Olner report but he didn't say if that was before or after the Hamilton deal.

I would trade Bourjos, not Trumbo if I'm the Angles. The Mets could use Bourjos.

I don't want Bourjos at all. Rather have Trumbo and a outfield prospect, or their current 4th outfielder Calhoun

That Idea just blew my mind, Paying Wells contract would mean that we can get more for less, they say they have 25-30 to spend that would definitely be a nice way to spend it.
