I'm not really a Hairston fan, I think I'd rather have Cody.

I'm not a fan of either as a starting out fielder, Hairston is more of a bench guy/part time player who has power and Ross is basically the same... they both aren't defensive guys so I would have hoped the mets could have gotten someone who can be an offensive force as well as play quality defense. If things were equal i'd probably go with Ross as well.

Ross, but that is mainly because at least he is something different than what we have had the past few years.
