Instead of propping the team up to mediocrity, we should just let them fail, if that's the way it should be. A couple of years at the bottom will rejuvenate their farm system with elite prospects.
If our current talent works out well, we can make a move down the road.

We've had a couple of years, and then some, at the bottom. This wouldn't be a new approach. Newsflash...we stink, and have for a long time.

I think it SHOULD have been done, but that ship sailed with the Wright extension.

Yes, I was for re-signing both, and hope Dickey is re-signed. These are guys that give the team some character, and make the team worth watching. In my mind, they are part of what the team is, even if that's not very good. I'm not saying we should intentionally tank the team, but I'd rather not bring in 30 something strangers to try to save face.
