brentz has fallen down the prospect ladder. some dont even see him in the top 200 in mlb at this point.

Of course someone would mention brentz. The infatuation with this guy continues for some odd reason.

Well it's logical because of what we are targeting positionally. I don't see him as the type of unlikely to miss (I hate the term "can't miss") impact player I want to be the the center piece of a deal. If he was in a package with Bradley and another piece like a high celing arm though I could like it

NO to ellsbury...he'll be gone at year's end. Brentz would NOT be the centerpiece, he would be an addon. Bradley/Bogaerts/Barnes + Brentz + Salty for Dickey+Mejia.

Brentz is a solid prospect who I see being a 15-20 hr guy in the Majors possibly with about a .280 average. That would be a solid ML player. Brentz can't be the center of the package though....Boston would have to give up 1 of their top 3 prospects.
