Yeah, Reynolds would have been great. He's basically been Dave Kingman the last 3 years (while striking out more often, which is hard to believe).
And yes, I know, he's better than what we have.
But imo Kingman never improved any team he was on, other than possibly that one year with the Cubs. He struck out a ton, had a terrible BA, and was slightly better than a butcher in the field.
Ditto Reynolds.
People used to pine for Adam Dunn, who at least had a very good OBP. Reynolds is a poor man's Adam Dunn.
