No ambiguity there. Every GM in baseball would agree.

I wish the Mets had Bonds in his prime.

No, he is not. GMs would not agree, either.

yea I heard Francessa's garbage opinion about that....Cano is NOT better than Wright. You put Wright in THAT lineup in THAT park and he is easily hitting .320+ with 40 hrs every year. Put Cano at CF and I'd be surprised if he hit even 20 hrs.

The question is WHY he has been the better hitter the last 4 years. It's certainly not because he is the better player. Look at what he has around him...AS lineup and little league park...that is a HUGE difference from the little league grand canyon CF...

88 walk with 112 Ks keeping a .391 OBP is a whiffboy? We could use a few more of them if that is the case.

Ah...that's that nice hatred that blocks the logic and common sense part of your brain. Tell me, when Wright had the everyday protection of Delgado and Beltran in the lineup pre 2009, how were his numbers? Compare those numbers to 2009 and beyond where his protection was NON EXISTENT.

We'll see what Yankee management says about Cano during his free agency negotiation. All of a sudden he won't be worth the $25mil per year Boras will be asking for him, nor will he be worth the 8 years.

So? What's your point? Wright is still a top 10 hitter in the NL .

There are plenty of players better than Wright, but none of them are on the Mets to include Cano. Ergo, whats the point???? Huh? HUh? Huh?

This is a dumb comparison. Someone like Swisher looked good in the Yankee lineup. Wroght's numbers would be insane if he was a career Yankee instead of a Met.
