Does anyone think that maybe this is why there was a planned assault on this embassy? All we hear from the mainstream news is who Petreus was boinking. Like that is important. Once again our CIA, government and private institutions are is inciting and staging a revolution so that they can dispose of a leader for more favorable deals on that countries resources.

Meanwhile the fighters the CIA are sneaking into Syria and setting up in civilian areas and are causing the extermination of women and children. Since their goal is to inflict casualties onto the civilian population to cause outrage. What is happening to those people is disgusting.

Some people wonder why the people of these nations hate us. Those same people believe that it is because we are free. That is a load of garbage, they hate us because we are ignorant to the horror that our elected officials, intel agencies and private citizens inflict on them daily. Our people may not have directly dropped bombs on these people but we are definitely indirectly responsible for the chain of events that has unfolded in those nations.

It often amazes me how people don't realize Al Qaeda is our enemy in some places and ally in others. I wonder why that is?

People care if the story favors their side or hurts the other side. Otherwise the story is insignificant. Shouldn't we be concentrating on (insert really important issue here)?

Blindly following a certain side is what's leading to the downfall of this country. We can't do what's right because it's not in line with the party. My guy is good. Almost everything he does and says is correct. If there is a story that claims otherwise, it's untrue and should probably not even be reported and the media is right in not reporting it.

We no longer demand media impartiality. Certain stories are simply not newsworthy. It is fine that the media downplays certain stories, even if they "up-played" the very same story against the other guy.

It doesn't even matter what happens anyway. In 50 years (maybe even less) this country will be close to being third world. All the economic statistics are pointing that way and the attitude of a majority of the people seems to be headed that way. Which is the way he wants it, well, he gets it.

Obviously, you're ignoring the monumental failure of our communist, fascist, socialist, dictatorial president to protect our ambassador and operatives in a country which, up until Obama was re-elected, was one of our strongest allies in the region.
