Good God, if he's healthy they are going to be virtually unbeatable.

Pretty fantastic to get him on a one year deal too. I would think this now takes the Nationals out of the market for any starters via trade.

Can you imagine if you catch a four games series at the wrong time and your facing Strasburg, Gonzalez, Zimmerman and Haren?

they have Harper, Span, Werth patrolling the OF we have the 3 stooges...they also have a good bullpen we dont.

And no one has a clue what we can get out of Santana to be honest.

agree. we also had stretches last year where two of those guys were the most dominant in MLB.

TC expects to throw 57 28-30 starts next year.

Our rotation is nice, but with the exception of Dickey at one they are better at two, three and four.

At least it makes John Lannan more expendable.

Their rotation is better than ours. So is their offense...and their pen.

This is more a low risk/high reward type signing. He had a down year last year and can't even stand up straight. We'll see how he'll bounce back

What a pathetic koolaider. You have no basis to dispute the substance of my post so you resort to ad homonym attacks. Your disgraceful charade has exhausted all usefulness. You have no more ammunition in your arsenal. You already have no credibility, but if you cannot admit to the fact that the Mets are an inferior team to the Nats, then you are explicitly admitting that you are a paid spokesperson of the Wilpons.

Yeah and Neise isnt better than any of the four, Santana's arm might be dettached from his body by May, and Harvey has had one good third of a season at the MLB level. Its not even close. Their rotation is way better. Which is all he was trying to say. That rotation is fearsome. Ours? Not so much so why bother comparing
