dickey to jays for arencibia, anthony gose, noah syndegaard? not a bad package. myers and darnaud should be top targets of course, but this would be a good haul.

That's a relatively fair package, though I don't think that the Jays are serious about trading for Dickey.

Also, Arencibia claims that he's received some sort of guarantee that he'll be the opening day catcher next year and AA is generally pretty good on his word.

Yeah, that seems to be the plan right now. He missed half of last season, so I think they want to avoid rushing him as much as they can. If he plays like he showed last year, I would guess he will be up mid-June, splitting time between Catcher, 1B and DH (depending on how Lind and Arencibia are playing)

has to start with D'Arnaud. I'd be demanding D'Arnaud and Gose. Dickey+Thole/Kirk for D'Arnaud and Gose.

AA won't be making that trade. If that's the asking price, the Mets will be keeping him.
