Yeah, the team and the crowd changed instantly. Sanchez was dragging everything down. In a short time McElroy drove them to a TD, and what would have been another had Greene not done the smart thing and taken a dive. He had a little luck with a few of the calls, but he took advantage of them like a pro.

I say start him next game.

They should give McElroy at least one start and see what he can
Do in the NFL level. He was a winner in college.

McElroy.......5/7...... 29 yds.....1 TD......it's a little hard to get excited over that, but let's face it, that's what its come down to. Rex should let him play out the season, if McElroy proves himself, problem solved. Ship Sanchez and Tebow to the CFL for whatever we can get.

The one thing I was impressed with was his poise. Now maybe his insides were churning like a cement-mixer, but it didn't show. He did not look like someone making their NFL debut.

People keep saying he's just a game manager...but his stats in college say otherwise. They're very good.

It can't hurt. Why not give him a shot?

5/7 29 yds 1 TD.
and more importantly 0 INTs
Not the second coming of Richard Todd, but why not give him a shot, Jets not goin anywhere, anyway.
