the Mets and their FO would be wise to take a close look at players like Ross and Fowler away from their home parks to get a fairer idea of what we may be buying with a large contract or prospects

so Ross is probably even more of a risk then

That's REALLY a dramatic difference, but you'll find a big disparity in lots of Red Sox greats...Yaz, Boggs, Rice

yeah,buyer beware with this particular player especially coming to a park like Citifield

he would look good on paper in our lineup but the on the field numbers might very well disappoint

Ehhh, this seems unfair to suggest considering Ross put up the exact same type of seasons in Florida, and you certainly wouldn't classify that park as a haven for hitters.

even if that is the case, he would STILL be better than anything we have...and at a 1 or 2 yr cheap contract, he would be worth it.
