Its Very Possible that R.A. Will still be a stud in 2015, and Bourn will be a nobody with a bad contract.

this is pretty much a moot point as Bourn is too expensive for us never mind too old

but from purely a baseball perspective i can see a contender making an offer of 3 years and 36 million for example,maybe up to 40 million...Bourn is a good player but he is getting on in years and a 5 year deal would be too much

Bourn would make sense for us as one part of a relatively dramatic set of moves/deals to make us a contender by next season....right now to tie up 12-13 million a year in him with our team right now just wouldn't make sense even if we could afford it

You really think Michael Bourn is a $15-17 million player? That's what he's going to receive.
