agree but if Mets made 4 or 5 moves and don't even have to add payroll or not, much would be a much better team on paper.

Before the winter meetings, you tell fans not to complain becuase something can happen at the meetings. After nothing happens in the winter meetings, you will say that plenty of deals are done in January. When nothing happens in January, you will tell us to wait till spring training. Can't you see that the Wilpons have no interest in fielding a winning team?

When the Mets were winning they were making 50M+ a year, with the Mets losing they have been losing 70M a year.

I thought trading him for multiple prospects was a better option. I wasn't opposed to resigning him. That was the next best option. My opposition was to not extending him and then letting him to via free agency.

If they care about winning why aren't they doing more to field a competitive team?

some interesting people have been non tendered. thats where the mets will look. i would like to trade for choo. but i doubt they go there.
