Regardless of what any wannabe GM's have to say, that this will cripple the team for years to come, that D has seen his best days in earlier years... this is a very very very good day.
He's one of the premier third basemen in the league. Wright got what he deserved. He got it from the team he wants to play for. And he's going to be here when the Mets start winning again.
