This is was the Mets plan all along as they weren't spending money on Free Agents this offseason. With the Mets raising ticket prices for Opening Day, expect more of the same as possibly another 4th place finish.

They pretty much wasted the biggest opportunity they had to improve this team quickly, cheaply and for years to come by using their best chip. All we need now is for DW's back to act up for half a season.
