Hopefully, he's convinced the team's headed in the right direction and we see some results next week.

It is hard to not like keeping Wright a Met..I certainly understand the other side of the arguement as far as possibly moving Wright in the hopes of getting back something that can help fill more needs. I thought Wrights second half last year was especially troubling. To the point for the first time I actually in my mind thought it may be best to move him. But I certainly won't complain about him staying a Met that is for sure. To me what makes this move more significant is the fact Bay will not be on the roster next season. The GM has taken care of some major issues moving forward..And to me Bay was priority number one. Its addition by subtraction. Hopefully they can add some pieces between now and ST to make this team a better team for 2013.

Was thinking the exact same thing!!!

I would like to know what % of those voting were really Met fans. Most likely a portion of those that voted negatively, in my opinion.
