Bay will be in LF, and maybe platoon with Duda. Kirk will be in CF or share some time with Bay. I expect Torres to be back too as well as Hairston.

If so, I would be surprised to see a Kirk / Torres platoon in CF.

i have a feeling that torres will be non tendered and duda traded

i don't think duda will net much but i wouldnt be surprised if they ship him to an AL team for a serviceable bp piece...hes just not an NL player but he does have pop and that has some value

if i had to predict today what our OF will look like opening day

Melky, kirk (our everyday cf), and whoever the centerpiece of the dickey trade is

this is really the one area of the roster where i expect significant turnover

kirk will also not have a huge leash as he will have both lagares and den dekker in the minors vying for his job w/ the dark horse in the race being valdespin

i dont love the idea of signing an admitted cheater but i have a feeling that he will wind up being a good fit in terms of money and short term commitment....it will give him a chance to reestablish his value and it will give us a one year bandaid until we are in a position next offseason where we have more financial flex
