Nothing wrong with being patriotic or its not a big deal of him holding the Panamanian flag but this was A parade for the Yankees in the USA . it wasn't the Panamanian Indpendence day parade .

Well, it wasn't American Independence Day, either, but I bet if a player was holding an American flag no one would complain. Major League Baseball is an international game now -- if we want to have the best players from around the world play in the majors, we can't complain when Panamanian flags -- or Japanese flags or whatever -- show up.

face it people, no one comes to this country because they want to be American or because they love America. They come here because this is where the jobs & opportunity are. Should I go and tell my barber that his Italian flag is highly offensive to me because he's in America? or perhaps a favorite pub of mine should take down the Irish flag? The Yankees aren't an Olympic team. Why does he have to wave an American flag? Who cares what flag he's waving. He's not there representing this country, he's there representing himself as a member of the world champions of baseball.
