Very tough loss, and unfortunately will probably lead to a sweep. It's unfortunate that we would run into the nationals when they are clearly playing way above their ability. Not to say that they won't be a good team, but almost every pitcher they have has an era of 2 or lower right now and that cannot continue.

GO FISH!!!

The Nationals are deffinantly playing out of there minds rite now. And with all the injuries they have, it's only gonna get better for them.

The Nats could end up being a very good team. Not this good, of course, but it wouldn't shock me to see them stay in it all year. Not only do they have some talent but they also have a terrific manager, at least until he self-destructs again.

Was that Detwiler or Johan Santana in his prime? Because he mowed down the fishies

On to game 2.... Going to Burger n Beer Joint to watch. Was wondering if you guys watch from home or go somewhere to catch the game.

As for the game... will be interesting. The Fish got handled by Nats pitching last night, but really so did the Nats by Zambrano (minus Ankiel). Sanchez takes the mound today and is 7-0 vs. the Nats. 2.06 ERA against them lifetime. Hopefully whatever affects the roadtrip to DC had have worn off and we can muster up some RBIs. Remember, we had runners in scoring position a couple of times yesterday... just didn't pull through.

Thats not nice bro we are the NATIONALS.

anyways Detwiler is one of our more incontinent starters, but he is improving to be a solid power lefty.

Incontinent?? I could see that being a problem for somebody like Jamie Moyer but Detwiler is only 26 years old.

The Marlins have not scored for 19 innings now. Not good.

On the other hand, the Marlins pitching has been AWESOME.

Tough series but these sort of things turn suddenly. Just gotta stay relaxed and do what they do and it will come.

Hope they break out of this scoreless funk soon though.

Thought I read somewhere that Strasburg has a 70-something pitch limit. Maybe we can get some runs soon.

21 consecutive scoreless innings now.

Figured if I start counting then it would end but then the Nats scored. LOL.
