Remind you of anyone? First game in a Marlins uniform, Boni hit an inside the park homer. Everyone quickly overlooks the downside. I can't even remember the signs that Boni would be terrible early in the season, I was stuck on that first week high.

Anyway, the best result of this deal is that Brett Carroll might finally have the opportunity to play RF every day. BC in my opinion was better than Hermida, at least with the Fish. GO BC!!!

Gamedude;

I'm surprised we didn't have to pay them instead. Well, two young left-handed pitchers for somebody who wasn't going to be in the team anyway next year, seems like a job well done by the front office.

I'll go farther than that. I surprised we didn't have to give the Hanley just to even things out. :)

I like Brett Carroll myself, but I believe the RF job belongs to Cody Ross.

That is if Cody Ross is back in black and white with a considerable lack of teal next season.

GO FISH!!! WHERE IS THE TEAL????

Cody Ross is an excellent outfielder, he can play all three positions. But if BC can play left and Coghlan can transition back into the infield, that would be great for me too.

"But if BC can play left and Coghlan can transition back into the infield, that would be great for me too." I'm 100% on bpard with that, BUT they want to leave Coghlan in left so that they can play Boner at second. :(

GO FISH!!! BONER OR COGHLAN YOU DECIDE!!!!

With the Marlins letting De Aza go and trading Hermida, I believe Ross will be back. If not we are in deep trouble. If(when) Uggla goes, it will damper some power & RBI's in the lineup. If Ross goes with Uggla, thats 55 HR's out of the lineup. I like the TEAL too by the way!

Thank God Hermida is gone and we actually got something in return! Hey, who knows, maybe with a good hitting coach he'll do well over there; but I doubt it, lol......
