Donnelly not ruling out returning to Marlins

Man, if you haven't seen this article you should. I have liked Donnelly ever since the day we got him. I'm not sure that the FO is seriously considering keeping him, but Donnelly has some great quotes in the article.

GO FISH!!! DON'T F*** THIS UP FOR US LORIA!!!!

there is no way the marlins make a higher offer than the many teams that will be interested in him. its sad cuz he pitched pretty dam good this year.

The FO is doing it again. They bring in a good reliever and don't show any interest in the offseason. Same thing happened with Arthur Rhodes. Hopefully they do show interest at least in Brian Sanches.

Brain Sanches isn't arbitration eligible as far as I know. It is a pretty sure thing that he will be back next year.

GO FISH!!! ROLL OUT THE ROLAIDS!!!!

Are the 2 guys we got for Hermida good enough? I like when lefties are good.

I know you guys are light on cash, but being a Jays fan or just an general sense of relief pitchers, the best thing to do with them is draft kids with power arms or pitchability, groom them, comfort them, and bring them along through the minors to the big club. Then use them and trade them off as parts in bigger deals to obtain parts that you need in the lineup, all the while continuing the same model I suggested of drafting, grooming, using & trading.

It should work out, nothing to fret over losing Donnelly, you guys should have some pretty good arms in the system.

Look I have made it clear from the very beginning Hermida for a hot dog. Even then we would be getting a good deal. A fair trade for Hermida would probably include us taking the other team out for a stake dinner. (lol) I have no idea how good these 2 guys may(not) be, but we still win.

GO FISH!!!

the two guys the marlins got back are Hunter Jones and Jose Alvarez.

-Jones, 25, had 36 relief appearances in AAA where he was 4-3 with a 4.25 era, he also made 11 relief appearances with the Red Sox in 2009, giving up 13 runs in 12 2/3 innings.

-Alvarez, 20, combined for a 9-4 record and 2.26 ERA in 26 games, including 12 starts.

At Class A Carolina, he was 1-1 with a 4.74 ERA in 12 games. And at Class A Lowell, the Venezuelan native was 8-3 with a 1.52 ERA in 14 games, including 12 starts.
