im not pulling for anyone this year. but in my opinion, it looks like the yankees might run away with it. i dont see how anyone can stop that offense, and with CC at the top of that rotation, i think the yanks will get their 27th title in 2009. just my opinion.

yea, i wouldnt like them to win this year either. i just dont like the idea that you can "buy" a title like new york is trying to do. but man do they look good. i dont see any team beating them. to tell you the truth, as long as the phillies (i hate them) nor the yanks win the title, ill be happy. (although its probably going to be a yanks vs phills ws....)

Everyone buys a WS title, the Yankees just have more money to use. lol The Marlins would do the SAME exact thing if they had the same amount of money as the Yankees. The main reason we are moving to the new stadium is so we can get MORE MONEY.

With that said I do hope the Rockies can win and they just tied the d4amn series too!

AMAZING GAME! Yankees got some big breaks on some calls. That LF foul ball was 100% fair and it changed the entire game but Twins had bases loaded and 0 outs and pulled a Marlins.

for real. you dont deserve to win the game if you leave the bases juiced wth 0 outs. like i have been saying. it looks like this is NY's year.

OT - I been playing MLB 2K9 and managed to bring back Miguel Cabrera and Juan Pierre. I created myself as their new 3B and let go of Hermida, Gload, and Pinto. I replaced Pinto with Tank and the outfield is Maybin, Ross, and Pierre! Its a fun lineup to hit with for sure!

Dodgers swept out the Cardinals just like the Cubs last year....this wasnt an upset with having home-field this time around but who knows what wouldve happen if Holliday caught that ball.
