I'm hurting today over watching the Twins blow the 9th inning lead. And quit telling me about how good the flippin umpires are, they can't even get a critical fair/foul call right (in the 11th inning).

But how about those Angels! Yes!

There's a reason why the PTC hates me.

Lucky for me I don't live anywhere near Bonnie Lake ...

I thought the Dodgers were really going to struggle against the Cards, given that St. Louis has two Cy Young candidates, and yet they are up 2-0. I do like the Dodgers.

As far as the AL goes, I'm liking the Angels, especially if they can sweep Boston.

The Yanks are vulnerable I think, their pitching (outside of Rivera and Sabathia) is not that intimidating.

It really hurt the Twins to have to play game 163, and then they lose game 2 of the ALDS due to the botched umpiring. And to have the hated Yanks be the beneficiary, it pains me.

I hear from our folks in Bonney Lake that record lows are on the way. Better wear your thermals to light up the briquettes. I hope I see the Yankees & the Dodgers in the Series.

Actually, the forecast lows for Seattle are in the low 30's for tomorrow. I remember when in Junior High at James Madison------the Yankees would play the Dodgers in the Series & the teachers in woodshop & metalshop would have the game on. Those were the days for baseball ! 1959 & 60.

The 9th inning blown leads are complete weirdness.

Good to have Colorado and the weird mountain weather out of this.

I like the Angels over the Yankees, I just don't believe in the Yankee pitching (Lackey/Weaver/Kazmir are superior to Sabathia/Pettit/Burnett), Torii Hunter is on a mission. The Angels are the veteran team in this one, certainly Scioscia is the better manager.

I like the Dodgers over the Phils, believe in the Torre magic. Despite how things went versus the Rockies, the closing situation for the Phils is very tenuous.

An all California world series.

Winningest teams in each league square off...Bothers me the Phils are back they are scary...Dodgers over the Phils this year because this year LA has home field they'll take it in 6...Do you ever remember seeing this many 9th inning comebacks? Incredible, even though there were 3 sweeps and a 4 game series, terrific baseball...I'll take NY over LAA in 7 because my brother-in-law has season's tix to the Yankees and I get a ticket for games 6 and 7 in the ALCS and games 1 and 2 in the WS... Annoying that I have to root for NY to get that far...the Dodgers over NY in the WS in 6

Angels win in extra innings ... the Yanks finally lose in the post season.

The Yankee relief is their achilles heel, and there have been a couple of nice long games versus the Halos to wear them out.

Nice.

Broxton, walk and a hit batter...rough way to lose. My Dodgers look done but I'll hope till the end, there have been so many of these incredible endings...Baseball, best sport ever, nothing like it

Nope, there's nothing happy in playoff land right now, so I'm coming back to my little corner of baseball here in Marinerville. So... um... glad Rob Johnson's surgery went okay, and sorry to see Joh go. What big free agents do you think Jack Z will try to land?

Angels hold on to take it back to the Stinking Apple. Nice.

We can only hope for an encore of what happened to the Yanks in 2004 ...
