Hey guys,

Please keep your thoughts and prayers for my Mom, Linda Gillman. She found out today she has skin cancer. The good news is it was detected early and they will take the mole off. The doctor froze the mole today and in February, she will have surgery. Thank you guys for the thoughts and prayers. I know she will beat this.

Thank you, I know she will be fine but it all of a sudden hit me when I came back from bowling.

When it comes to family, it doesn't get any closer than a mother. We all know what mothers have done for us. Don't stress too much over a mole, my step father had one recently removed (diagnosed cancer) and he isnt batting an eyelash.. Your mother will be fine. It's the least invasive form of cancer. My girlfriend has been trying to get me to the doctor for years because of a mole....but I don't do doctors and it doesnt hurt.

Yeah you're right, I know it's not a big thing, but it still hit me tonight. The good news, like you said is it's the least amount of concern over the cancer. But it's always good to have good thoughts coming your way when things happen.

My thoughts and prayers are with you cantonguy. The people on this board can provide a certain amount of comfort and strength for you. I know this because this message board has really helped me before.

My Mom is 88 years old and hanging in there so far but you really never know. All I know is family really does mean everything to me. I thank God every day for what I have in my life, my wife and our two children.

There are a lot of good people on this board and we will have your back with prayers and good thoughts. I am sure your Mom will be fine but never put off the obvious things in life and tell her how much she means to you. Our immediate family is always near and dear to our hearts no matter how long of a life we live. My Dad has been gone for over 5 years now and I wish that I had told him how much I loved and respected him.

Your Mom and your family are in my prayers. A friend of mine had the same thing and he caught it early and that was about 10 years ago and he hasn't had any problems so catching it early is the best thing to do with something like this.

No, she is getting it done here in Canton. It's a simple procedure, but still it hit me last night when I got home bowling. So I appreciate all of the prayers guys. Thank you.
