I think at this point all the doubters were proven to be ignorant of the obvious talent disparity. It never was a close call. The Chicago Bears game was evidence enough for me.

Cherry picking? It's called a situational statistic. A situation that Kaepernick clearly excels in over Smith.

You forget the necessary in my opinion. It is good manners.

The 49ers know Smith's ceiling by now, and it doesn't have the potential to be amongst the best.

This was an easy call. JH made a game plan around Kap's unique skills. It was a riskier one but one that had higher reward too. Can't do that with Smith.

I chuckled in hindsight when I recall the JH statement (a hint) before the game:

"Kap's got the game plan down", or something to that effect.

Yeah I watched the game... I've stated for about the 100th time for you dense ones out there that he is a great qb. But, that does'nt help him in the all important class factor.

At least until he rises up on the class factor.

He is excluded from the real 49er greats.. Montana, Young, Brodie, YA tittle, Alex Smith,... I can add to the list if you want...
