With all the attention on Kaepernick, no one is mentioning that Crabtree has turned into one of best receivers in league over last 6 games.

Crabtree's last 6 games project to the following numbers over a full season: 117 catches, 1752 yards, 16 TDs. Based on this past season that would put him 4th in catches, 2nd in yards, and 1st in TDs. Make sure to snatch him up quick next year in fantasy football.

All due to Colin Kapernick. Smith doesn't have the guns like Colin. Is this the new Montana/Rice duo ?! We will see!

The main reason Crabs got better is that he got healthy. But you can't deny that Kaepernick has bumped his game up a notch or two. They have better chemistry than Smith and Crabs did.

Thanks for the comeback.

I didn't see much of Crabtree when he played at Tech, other than the game against OK State. He's even better than I saw that night. Glad he's a 49er, and I hope for a long time.

Especially with Kaep getting him the ball. Something that Alex had a hard time doing, his passes were mostly skipping short of his attended hands as I saw it.

Keep in mind that Kaep is much more accurate than Alex too!

No one in the NFL is more accurate than Smith from 0 to 5 yards.

""All due to Colin Kapernick"

Completely innacurate.
"

So did he have the numbers he did with Smith? Nope. Did he get those numbers with Colin? Yup.

Anymore questions?

"The stats don't bear that out."

They might if you look at balls that travel past 5-10 yards.

"If Walker could hold on to a pass every now and then Kaepernick's stats would be even better."

You can say that for most everyone not named Crabtree.

"Nobody comes close to Walker though."

Nope. He's definitely the team leader in drops on easy passes.
