"Taking it with all the class I expected, sound like a real 49er fan".
Well madb...you know you can't put all 49ers fans in a box. I appreciate what Kaepernik did this weekend. I'm excited to see the kind of player he can be. But, before I start listing his name with Joe Montana, Steve Young, Even John Brodie. I want to see what he can do over a longer amount of time. Now, if he can get in and win the superbowl. Obviously then I would at least have to recognize him as a superbowl winner and superb qb. Because we don't win a superbowl every year. But, even then he would need to be a qb for a longer period of time before mentioning his name with Hall of fame qb,s.
Having said that. I would be blind not to recognize just how talented he is, it is amazing the raw tools he has. And at least this weekend he showed that he is poised, delivers the ball acurately, and can certainly explode down the field with speed.
It is amazing what he has accomplished so far in his young career. The only negative really about him I can find is the game in Seattle. For some reason he seemed to lose focus in it. If he can bounce back on the road, and show the same kind of focus he did against GB. Then for sure we have a force that the 49ers have'nt seen in a long time.
